Basin Street hires former Equity Office leasing director for North Bay

PETALUMA -- Basin Street Properties hired Matt Krupp, former director of leasing for Equity Office Properties Trust's North Bay portfolio, to direct marketing and leasing for Basin Street's holdings in Sonoma and Napa counties.

Starting April 30, Mr. Krupp will take over that function from Vice President Scott Stranzl, who is overseeing marketing and leasing of the company's 585,000 square feet of office and retail properties in Reno, Nev., and Sacramento as well as other projects.

Equity Office hired Mr. Krupp as director of leasing for its North Bay properties in October 2005 as it was integrating 1.43 million square feet of office properties acquired from Basin Street that year for $270 million. The Blackstone Group acquired Equity Office earlier this year.

Between 1991 and joining Equity Office, Mr. Krupp was a North Bay commercial real estate agent for Keegan & Coppin and then Orion Partners.
