Architecture and Design

T. Keith Gurnee of RRM Design Group’s Sausalito office was appointed to The Waterfront Center’s Board of Advisors and the California Planning Roundtable.

Banking and Finance

Bank of Napa appointed Robert Patterson as a director.



Dena Kemp joined Richmond-based Mechanics Bank as a relationship officer in the Napa Valley Corporate Lending group.

Construction

Thomas Weaver joined Conservation Mechanical Systems, a commercial and industrial air conditioning equipment supplier, as full partner.



Raul Pena joined Supress Products in San Rafael as vice president of sales. Supress Products manufactures sound-insulating gypsum wallboard.

Consulting and Training

Annika McCrea was appointed president and CEO of Advantage Performance Group, a Larkspur consulting and training network. She replaces Advantage founder John Hoskins, who will continue as strategic counsel to the firm’s 31 franchise partners and 14 selling affiliates across the United States.

In other news, Advantage consultant Robert Brinkerhoff, Ph.D., was selected as the 2008 recipient of the Distinguished Contribution to Workplace Learning and Performance award by the American Society for Training & Development.

Health Care

Michael Humphrey, manager of the Sonoma County In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority, was appointed to the Olmstead Advisory Committee.



Kaiser Permanente named Gregory Adams as president of its 3.3 million-enrollee Northern California region.



Andrea Learned, vice president of development for St. Joseph Health System, was appointed to the board of directors for the Center for Well-Being, a North Bay health education and wellness center.

Law

Santa Rosa-based Albert Handelman was named by Worth magazine as one of the top 100 lawyers in the U.S. serving the needs of affluent families and by Law & Politics magazine as a Northern California Super Lawyer.

Nonprofits

Laura van Galen of San Rafael will be honored with the Rising Star award at the 24th Annual Leaders & Legends luncheon hosted by the San Francisco chapter of the Nation Association of Women Business Owners.

Real Estate

Northbay Family Homes and Suburban Alternatives Land Trust added Pamela Asselmeier as director of land banking and special projects.



Industry veteran Bill McKeon was named manager of Prudential California Realty’s San Rafael, Fairfax and Woodacre offices.

 

Solar

Borrego Solar Systems in Petaluma appointed David Boylan director of marketing. Mr. Boylan formerly served as president of Artichoke Creative, a full-service marketing agency.

Technology

Christian Cook, project manager for General Dynamics in Healdsburg, received the Project Management Professional certification from the Wine Country chapter of the Project Management Institute.
