Biotech

Victoria Lunyak joined the Buck Institute for Age Research in Novato to establish a program in aging and epigenetics, the study of heritable changes in genome function that occur without a change in DNA sequence.



Oculus Innovative Sciences in Petaluma appointed Michelle Carpenter as vice president of regulatory affairs and quality. Ms. Carpenter was previously vice president of regulatory and medical affairs and chief compliance officer at Dey.



Engineering

Nathan Martin was hired as wastewater technician for Riechers Spence & Associates in Napa.



Health Care

Massage Envy promoted Alex Hall to clinic administrator and Anthony Drohan to lead therapist at its Napa location, scheduled to open May 5.



Law

The city of Cotati named Richard Rudnansky as city attorney and Elizabeth Pianca as assistant city attorney. Mr. Rudnansky is principal of Meyers Nave in Santa Rosa and is currently the town attorney for Windsor. Ms. Pianca is also an attorney with Meyers Nave.



Nonprofit and Community Organizations

W. John “J” Mullineaux was named vice president for development of Community Foundation Sonoma County. He was most recently director of development at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.



Pauline Stuber of CSW Stuber-Stroeh Engineering in Novato was one of 150 Rotarians worldwide to receive the Rotary International Service Above Self Award this year.



Real Estate

Frank Howard Allen added the following new agents: Kathy Bass in its Tiburon office, Howard Myers in its Mill Valley office, Mari Ballas-Ward in its San Rafael office and Angel Williams in its Santa Rosa office.

Santa Rosa-based Homes & Land franchise owner Rick Surlow was named to the company’s President’s Club for the 19th consecutive year.



Deepinder Sekhon was hired as vice president and director of real estate and finance of Novato-based Northbay Family Homes. He worked most recently as a senior loan consultant for Washington Mutual. Mr. Sekhon will work primarily on the Employers Empowering Homeownership initiative.



Technology

Napa-based FacilitaIT named Marilyn McMahon as accounting manager. She worked previously as the vice president of finance for Keegan & Coppin.
