Sonoma Valley Bank President and Chief Administrative Officer Sean Cutting reported holding company earnings of $1,027,289 for the quarter ending March 31, a gain of 1.1 percent year over year. Earnings per share also increased 2.2 percent year over year.Community Organizations & Nonprofits

The Northern California Engineering Contractors Association is accepting applications for 2008 scholarships to full-time students. To be eligible, the applicant must be a high school senior or college student pursuing a career in construction or an employee of ECA or their family members who are pursuing secondary education in any industry.Sonoma Academy and the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy won an award from the Sonoma County Conservation Council and the Sierra Club Sonoma Group for a program that focuses on the interplay between humans and the environment.
