Construction

Adam Rivera, project manager at Hogan Land Services of Santa Rosa, passed both the National Professional Land Surveyors Exam and the California State Professional Land Surveyors Exam, becoming a designated professional land surveyor.   

Health Care

Anjana Berde, Tamalpais Bank first vice president and director of human resources, was named to the board of directors of the Blood Centers of the Pacific. The organization operates 11 blood center donation locations in Northern California, including one in San Rafael.



Dr. Benjamin Platt, anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, joined the staff at SpectrumCare Pain Treatment Center in Napa. Dr. Platt received his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.

Insurance

Gary Delucchi joined NorthWest Insurance Agency’s Napa office as a commercial lines producer. In addition to his 28 years of insurance experience, Mr. Delucchi has published articles in Business Insurance Magazine, Rough Notes and Insurance Journal.

 

Nonprofit Organizations

San Rafael-based Buckelew Programs appointed Steven Ramsland  as executive director, replacing longtime executive director Jay Zlotnick. Buckelew provides affordable housing, employment and recovery support services for transition-aged youth and adults with mental illness in Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties.

Real Estate

Terri D’Amico joined Frank Howard Allen Realtors, the Wine Country Group at its Sonoma Plaza office. The group also hired Art Bowen, real estate veteran and longtime Napa Valley resident, at its Napa office.



Kiki Judd, a real estate veteran with the Frank Howard Allen Greenbrae office, was presented with the Dee Fahy Volunteer Achievement Award by Hospice By The Bay.



Hurd Real Estate in Santa Rosa announced its top producers for August 2008 are Cindy Tonascia, Cheryl Downing, Joan Edwards, Denise Horner, Dean Mitchell, Francine Passa and Gary Adams.
